​Hello, my name is Jaime A. Gonzalez, I am originally from Colombia. I attended Ramapo College where I  studied Spanish with a concentration in k-12 Education. I also majored in Latin American Studies, where I had the great fortune of participating in several study abroad programs in Nicaragua, Guatemala, and Spain. These programs were geared toward community service and community building. Through my travels  in Latin America, I gathered a great deal of cultural experience and great memories. I have taught in the Garfield school district for the past 8 years, and I am excited to participate in our world language program at the elementary level. I love teaching Spanish, and I look forward to participating in the education of Garfield students for many years to come.
